Woman Seeks Revenge on Louis Vuitton Staff by Making Them Count ₹70 Lakh
A Chinese woman took revenge on the staff at a Louis Vuitton store in a unique and extravagant way. The woman, who goes by the handle “xiaomayouren” on the social networking site Xiaohongshu, shared her experience of being ignored by the staff at the luxury store in Chongqing, southwest China.
According to reports, the woman visited the store wearing a Hermes bag and asked to see the new arrivals, but the employees pointed her towards old seasonal clothing and ignored her request for water. They even rolled their eyes and appeared irritated when she asked for outfits that would fit her.
Feeling slighted by the treatment she received, the woman decided to take matters into her own hands. Two months later, she returned to the store with a bag of cash containing 600,000 Yuan (approximately ₹70 lakh). After trying on clothes for two hours, she told the sales team that she was not interested in buying and left, taking her money with her.
Describing the incident as the “most spleen-venting incident of the year,” the woman shared her story on Xiaohongshu, highlighting her dissatisfaction with the store’s customer service. The bold move has garnered attention online, with many applauding her for standing up for herself in a creative way.
The story serves as a reminder that customer service is key in the luxury retail industry, and ignoring or mistreating customers can have unexpected consequences. The woman’s act of revenge may have been extreme, but it certainly made a statement about the importance of treating all customers with respect and attentiveness.
