State Department of Labor to Host Job Fair at Buffalo and Erie County Public Library
The state Department of Labor is set to host a job fair at the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library’s main branch on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. More than 60 employers are registered to attend, offering job opportunities to job seekers in the area. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes to make the most of this networking opportunity.
In addition to the job fair, Seneca One will be hosting an open forum Group Chat on Thursday at 1 Seneca St. The discussion will focus on how local leaders are leveraging sports for community impact. Panelists include representatives from the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, Buffalo Pro Soccer, Ralph Wilson Park Conservancy, and Kaleida Health Foundation. The event aims to explore how sports can foster community engagement, drive change, and inspire positive action.
The Town of Niagara Planning Board will also hold a public hearing on September 3 to consider a request by RAJ Rentals Corp for a subdivision to build three single-family homes on undeveloped lots at 7100 Joanne Circle North. This development project could bring new housing options to the area and contribute to the growth of the community.
Overall, these events and developments highlight the ongoing efforts to support job creation, community engagement, and economic growth in the Buffalo Niagara region. Stay tuned for more updates on the changing economic landscape in Buffalo Next.
