With over 120 businesses showcasing their products and services at the Benton Convention Center, the event offered something for everyone, from healthcare businesses to decor businesses and nonprofits.
The expo also featured special events like the KidzBiz vendor showcase and a fashion designers showcase. Prior to the shopping experience, attendees had the opportunity to participate in the Wealth Building & Empowerment Summit, which included workshops and discussions led by top business leaders and entrepreneurs. A keynote address from motivational speaker Brian Campbell added to the enriching experience.
The highlight of the expo was the awards gala, where WXII 12’s Kara Peters served as the emcee and general manager Michelle Butt received the prestigious Winston-Salem Business Advocate Award. The event was a great success, showcasing the diversity and innovation of minority and women-owned businesses in the Triad region.
