The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the well-being of its workforce and ensuring a decent life for them post-retirement. This declaration was made during a convention organized by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The government emphasized its support for the Seventeen World Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on promoting decent work and economic growth. The state Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi, encouraged participants to leverage the convention as an opportunity to gather information and establish connections for a better future.

The event, which featured lectures and panel discussions, was attended by various stakeholders in the state. The deputy governor was represented by the commissioner for communications, Bola Olukoju, underscoring the government’s dedication to the welfare of its workforce.

Overall, the convention served as a platform for dialogue and collaboration towards building a solid foundation for a prosperous and sustainable future for the people of Kwara State.
