Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business Receives Extension of AACSB Accreditation
Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business has recently received an extension of its accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). This prestigious accreditation is a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence in business education.
AACSB accreditation is highly regarded in the field of business education, with only 6 percent of schools worldwide offering business degrees at the bachelor’s level or higher earning this distinction. The rigorous accreditation process involves an in-depth assessment of internal activities, mentorship with an AACSB advisor, and a peer-reviewed evaluation focused on continuous improvement.
Dean of the Stillman School of Business, Joyce Strawser, Ph.D., expressed pride in being among the fewer than two percent of business schools worldwide that hold both business and supplemental accounting accreditation. This recognition underscores the school’s dedication to delivering an outstanding business education and shaping graduates into principled business leaders.
In addition to business accreditation, the Stillman School of Business also maintains supplemental accreditation in accounting. This distinction, coupled with the school’s strong CPA exam pass rates and successful placements at leading accounting firms, reinforces its commitment to excellence in preparing students for success.
AACSB Executive Vice President Stephanie Bryant commended the institutions whose accreditation has been extended, noting that the commitment to earning accreditation reflects a dedication to students, alumni, the business community, and society as a whole.
Established in 1950, the Stillman School was the first private business school in New Jersey to earn AACSB accreditation. Today, the school offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including specialized M.B.A. tracks and dual-degree options.
The recent extension of AACSB accreditation for Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business reaffirms its position as a leader in business education and highlights its ongoing commitment to excellence.
