Richard P. Green Elected Shareholder at Florida Law Firm

In a recent development, the prominent Florida law firm Lewis, Longman & Walker (LLW) has announced the election of Richard P. Green as a new shareholder. Green, who has been with the firm since 2016, has worked his way up to this position and is now a key member of the team.

Green, who serves as the vice-chair of LLW’s litigation practice group, has a strong background in handling various types of litigation, including real property, commercial disputes, contracts, land use, and environmental issues. He has represented clients in both public and private cases in state, federal, and administrative courts, with a focus on construction-related cases and permitting procedures. Green has also been involved in property transfers in family real estate matters.

“We are thrilled to announce Richard as LLW’s newest shareholder,” said Michelle Diffenderfer, president and shareholder of LLW. “Richard exemplifies LLW’s commitment to delivering the best in client service through leadership, expertise, and legal advocacy.”

Green’s accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, as he has been recognized as a “rising star” by Florida Super Lawyers, a prestigious peer group for attorneys in the state. Additionally, Best Lawyers in America has included Green on its “Ones to Watch” list for environmental and real estate litigation, and Tampa Magazine has named him a “top lawyer in administrative and regulatory law.”

Green, who earned his law degree from the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, currently resides in Manatee County with his family. LLW, which has offices in St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, and West Palm Beach, boasts a team of three dozen attorneys with expertise in environmental, transportation and infrastructure, land use, government, and real estate litigation.

With over 30 years of experience, LLW continues to be a leading law firm in Florida, and Green’s election as a shareholder further solidifies the firm’s commitment to excellence in legal services.
