REI Co-op Names Guillaume Ledieu as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
In an exciting announcement, REI Co-op has named Guillaume Ledieu as the new senior vice president and chief technology officer. Ledieu, who joined the outdoor retail giant in October 2023, will be taking on this new role effective immediately. He will be succeeding Dan Shull, who is set to exit the company on July 12 for a new opportunity.
REI’s president and CEO, Eric Artz, expressed his enthusiasm for Ledieu’s promotion, stating, “I am thrilled to announce Guillaume’s promotion to senior vice president, chief technology officer. Guillaume joined the co-op in 2023 as our vice president of foundation technology and has already had an incredible impact in his short time here. In his new role, Guillaume will be responsible for all technology at REI, delivering on current and future member, customer, and employee needs, and helping to create a more modern and efficient REI.”
Prior to joining REI, Ledieu held the position of vice president of business transformation at McCormick & Company and has had a successful career spanning nearly 10 years with the company. He has also held leadership roles at Glatfelter and Black & Decker.
In a statement, Ledieu expressed his passion for the outdoors and his commitment to REI’s mission, saying, “Since joining the co-op last year, my passion for the outdoors and my commitment to enabling the co-op’s mission have grown even stronger.
