Catawba College Appoints Sandra Quaye as CFO/VP of Finance & Administration

Catawba College in Salisbury has recently appointed Sandra Quaye as the new chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration. Quaye, who will assume her new role on July 1, brings with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.

Catawba College President David P. Nelson expressed confidence in Quaye’s leadership, stating, “Sandra has such significant experience along with a genuine sense of shared vision and values about the future of our college. We are confident her leadership will strengthen our stewardship of the considerable resources that support our mission.”

Quaye joins Catawba College from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, Massachusetts, where she served as the vice president of finance and administration/chief financial officer. Prior to that, she spent 21 years at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire, holding various financial leadership roles.

In her new position, Quaye will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations at the college, as well as human resources, facilities, information technology, and capital projects. She will work closely with campus leaders to guide Catawba’s budget strategy and management, oversee facilities planning and construction, and explore new revenue opportunities for sustainable growth.

Quaye expressed excitement about joining Catawba College, stating, “This is an exciting time for Catawba College, filled with endless opportunities for growth and advancement. I am thrilled to join such a dynamic community of individuals who share a deep fondness for the college and its mission.”

Quaye holds a bachelor of science degree from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
