Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center has once again claimed the title of the top-rated hospital in New Jersey, according to the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital rankings for 2024. This marks the second consecutive year that HUMC has secured this prestigious honor.

In addition to being named the best hospital in the state, HUMC also earned a spot in the Top 5 in the New York metro area. The competition for the top spot in New Jersey was fierce, with HUMC narrowly edging out Morristown Medical Center for the second year in a row. These two hospitals have been the only ones to hold the No. 1 ranking in the state over the past 11 years.
