Norm Ai Secures $48 Million in Funding from Leading Investors

Norm Ai, a leading Regulatory AI agent company, has secured $48 million in funding from top investors including Coatue, Craft Ventures, Vanguard, Blackstone Innovations Investments, Bain Capital, New York Life Ventures, Citi Ventures, TIAA Ventures, and Marc Benioff. This latest round of funding brings the total funds raised by Norm Ai to $87 million over the past 18 months.

Norm Ai is a legal & compliance automation platform that aims to revolutionize how enterprises handle legal, regulatory, and industry requirements. The platform offers a unique “compliant by design” approach that integrates compliance checks into various business activities, such as AI-generated content, internal communications, agreements, and external corporate communications like marketing content and sales materials. By proactively implementing compliance checks, Norm Ai delivers an end-to-end enterprise-wide solution that streamlines compliance processes.

The company’s solution is powered by their Legal Engineering Automation Platform (Leap), a proprietary system that enables the creation of AI Agents with legal and regulatory domain expertise. This technology allows Norm Ai to convert complex policies into operational AI systems, reducing the time it takes to handle regulatory requirements from days to minutes.

“We built Norm Ai to turn regulatory requirements, legal obligations, and corporate policies into intelligent systems that can be embedded into business workflows,” said John Nay, Founder and CEO of Norm Ai. “This strategic investment will accelerate our research and development efforts across legal and regulatory frameworks to meet the growing demand for AI compliance solutions.”

In addition to the funding announcement, Norm Ai has welcomed former SEC Commissioner Troy Paredes as Senior Policy Advisor and Head of Capital Markets Strategy. Paredes brings a wealth of experience in regulatory and compliance environments, having served as a Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2008-2013. His appointment underscores Norm Ai’s commitment to setting the norms for regulatory and compliance AI.

Norm Ai’s innovative approach to automating compliance reviews has garnered praise from investors like Philippe Laffont, Founder of Coatue. Laffont expressed his excitement about investing in Norm Ai and highlighted the company’s potential to redefine regulatory AI.

With this latest funding round and the addition of Troy Paredes to their team, Norm Ai is well-positioned to continue leading the way in the development of AI-driven compliance solutions. For more information about Norm Ai, visit www.norm.ai.
