Southern Regional Technical College Names Ralph Griffith Interim Dean for Industrial Technology

Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) has announced the appointment of Ralph Griffith as the new Interim Dean for Industrial Technology, effective June 1, 2024. Griffith brings nearly 20 years of experience with the college, previously serving as the Design and Construction Division Chair and the Drafting Technology Program Chair.

With a strong educational background, including a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development, Griffith has also held roles in the industry as an Architectural Draftsman and Corporate Construction Manager. His dedication to academic excellence and technical education has been recognized with accolades such as the 2011 Rick Perkins Award for Southwest Georgia Technical College.

In his new role, Griffith will oversee all programs within the School of Industrial Technology at SRTC, including Air Conditioning Technology, Automotive Collision and Refinishing, Carpentry, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, and more. SRTC offers a wide range of degree, diploma, and certificate programs designed to prepare graduates for successful careers.
