Improving Local Business Environment Forum by LALBC
The Los Alamos Local Business Coalition (LALBC) is gearing up to host a series of Forums on Improving the Local Business Environment, with the first forum scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the SALA Event Center. This forum aims to bring together key players from the local business ecosystem to address challenges and explore solutions for enhancing economic growth in Los Alamos.
Representatives from organizations such as Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC/Chamber/MainStreet), Los Alamos County’s Community Development Department, and the UNM-LA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will provide insights on their roles in supporting local businesses, the challenges they face, and their approaches to their work. The forum will also include public comment and a Q&A session to encourage discussion and engagement.
Additionally, County Councilor liaisons working on business community-related matters have been invited to attend and participate in the forum. The goal is to gain valuable insights into the current state of the local business environment and explore opportunities for collaboration.
The LALBC plans to host one forum per month in the coming months, covering various topics related to improving the local business environment. Local businesses are also encouraged to participate by sharing their experiences, success stories, and challenges during the forums.
