KWASU Governing Council Approves Promotion of 17 Staff to Professorial Cadre
The governing council of Kwara State University, Malete, has ratified the promotion of 17 staff members to the professorial cadre, marking a significant milestone in the academic and professional development of the institution.
In a statement released by the Director of University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, it was announced that 6 staff members have been promoted to full Chair, while 11 have been elevated to the position of associate professor. Among the newly appointed professors are individuals specializing in a wide range of fields, including Soil Fertility, Entrepreneurship, Corporate & Public Finance, Journalism and Media Studies, Physical and Computational Chemistry, and Analytical, Environmental, and Industrial Chemistry.
The newly appointed associate professors also bring a diverse set of expertise to the university, with specializations in Arabic Language, Management Accounting, Engineering, Materials Characterization, Information Systems, Tax Law, Pure Mathematics, Parasitology, and Environmental Microbiology, among others.
