Wild Turkey Attacks Audi Convertible in Boston Street

The streets of Boston were witness to an unusual showdown between an Audi convertible and a wild turkey earlier this month. The turkey, displaying an unexpected burst of aggression, attacked the parked black sports car, leaving behind dozens of scratches in its wake.

The bizarre incident was captured on video and shared on TikTok, where it quickly went viral. The footage shows the turkey pecking, clawing, and jumping at the car for a whopping 15 minutes, in what can only be described as a one-sided confrontation.

The Audi’s owner, Alicia Mastroianni, initially thought her car had been hit by another vehicle. However, upon closer inspection, she discovered a note on her windshield from a good Samaritan who witnessed the turkey’s assault and wanted to ensure she was aware of what had transpired.

In an interview with Boston 25, Mastroianni expressed her shock at the extent of the damage caused by the turkey. She recounted how she had never expected such an encounter, especially after moving from a rural farm town to the bustling city of Boston.

The Massachusetts Environmental Police suggested that the turkey may have attacked the car after seeing its reflection and mistaking it for a rival. Mastroianni, who now has the option to select “parked car animal violence” on her insurance claim, has certainly found herself in a unique situation that she never anticipated in the city.

The viral video of the turkey’s assault on the Audi serves as a reminder that sometimes, even the most unexpected adversaries can pose a threat to our vehicles.
