2025 ChamberChoice Awards Nominations Now Open
The Home Builders Care Foundation in Moorhead is gearing up for an exciting summer with the Herdina Construction Trades Camp. This camp offers students the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and learn valuable skills in construction. From understanding safety requirements to hands-on building experience, participants will gain insight into the world of residential and commercial construction.
Not only will students benefit from this immersive camp experience, but they also have the chance to earn high school credit and college credits through M State. Scholarships are available for graduates pursuing construction-related fields, making this camp accessible to all aspiring builders.
The camp will take place from June 2-6 and 9-13 at the M State campus in Moorhead. Service project proposals are currently being accepted, with previous projects including the construction of small structures with materials provided by partnering organizations.
In addition to the camp, the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 2025 ChamberChoice Awards. These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses and organizations in the region, with categories ranging from Business of the Year to Inclusion Champion of the Year. The ChamberChoice Awards will be presented in May at the Delta by Marriott in Fargo.
Furthermore, the Chamber will be launching Inclusion Insights, a free training series designed to help businesses create more inclusive and diverse workplaces. Led by expert facilitator Whitney Harvey, these sessions will provide actionable strategies for fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
