Bouncer Sentenced to 30 Years for Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon Enhancement

The bouncer of a Boise business has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for stabbing a man at the establishment in August 2023. Anthony Perazzo, 52, was found guilty of aggravated battery with an enhancement for using a deadly weapon during the attack.

The incident occurred on the 600 block of South Vista Avenue on the Boise bench, where police responded to find the victim with life-threatening stab wounds. Perazzo, who was working as a bouncer at the business, instigated a fight with the customer and stabbed him multiple times in the abdomen before fleeing the scene. The entire attack was captured on video surveillance.

Despite the severity of the crime, the victim survived the stabbing. Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts expressed gratitude for the jurors’ decision, the Boise Police Department’s investigation, and the judge’s sentencing, which will help ensure the safety of the community.
