AML3D Expands US Manufacturing Hub in Stow, Ohio to Meet Growing Demand

AML3D, a leading additive manufacturing company, has announced the full operational status of its US technology center in Stow, Ohio. This state-of-the-art facility combines AML3D USA Inc’s headquarters with a modern manufacturing hub equipped with advanced additive manufacturing systems for metal 3D printing. The center is currently working on a significant order from the Tennessee Valley Authority, the largest public utility in the USA, and plans to expand its capacity to meet the growing demand for additive manufacturing solutions in the US Defense and Energy sectors.

The expansion of the Stow facility is in response to the expected increase in US Department of Defense spending on advanced additive manufacturing solutions, particularly to support the US Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base. AML3D’s US ‘Scale up’ strategy, launched in early CY2023, has already resulted in over A$16 million in contract wins, demonstrating the company’s strong position in the market.

With the opening of the Stow technology center and plans to double its manufacturing capacity, AML3D is poised to meet the needs of its US customers more effectively and accelerate its growth in the region. The company’s focus on US-based manufacturing also positions it to access lucrative contracts restricted by US regulations, including those related to defense contracts.
