Latest Business Updates in Downtown Austin: Barbie Pop-Up, Anniversaries, and Health Clinic

The downtown Austin business scene is buzzing with new openings, anniversaries, and even a closure. From a Barbie-themed pop-up to a new health clinic, here are the latest updates:

Now open:
Harbor Health Express Care Clinic: This multispecialty group provides care for all ages with walk-in appointments and after-hours care. Founded by Eric Scott, Tony Miller, and Dr. Clay Johnston, this clinic aims to provide convenient and accessible healthcare to the community.

In the news:
Austin Symphony Orchestra: The Austin Symphony Orchestra welcomes a new CEO and executive director, Justus Zimmerman, who will lead the oldest performing arts group in Austin. Check out their upcoming shows on their website for a musical experience.

Malibu Barbie Cafe: A Barbie-themed pop-up is making its way to Austin this spring, offering a family-friendly experience with a restaurant and roller rink. Sip Pho: Celebrating five years in business, Sip Pho offers a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including pho, vermicelli dishes, banh mi sandwiches, and boba tea, just north of The University of Texas at Austin.

Closings:
Moody’s Kitchen and Bar: Unfortunately, Moody’s Kitchen and Bar closed its doors in January, known for its $2 Tuesdays and Wednesday wing specials. However, a new bar, 1972: Women’s Sports Bar, is set to open in its place this March.
