While some believe the robots are merely actresses in suits, others argue that they are actual robots with advanced technology. Reports from People’s Daily Online reveal that the humanoid robot showcased at the conference can move at an impressive speed of 2 meters per second and features advanced three-finger force control hands. Additionally, China’s Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center introduced their new humanoid robot, NAVIAI, which demonstrated various skills such as tea making and speech delivery.
The 8th World Robot Conference, held from August 21 to 25 in Beijing, attracted participants from over 7,000 teams across 10 countries for more than 30 major and 80 minor events.
